PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily store the proof for charged toll. ;SOLUTION: Information such as card number and remainder is transmitted through communication between the 1st antenna of an exit gate and on-road equipment (440-448) and while using the toll in a signal returned from the on- road equipment, the new remainder and the serial number of charging processing as temporary utilization detal information are written onto an IC card (452-458). Afterwards, when the communication between a 2nd antenna and the on-road equipment is enabled, the new remainder written on the IC card is transmitted (458-466), the returned utilization detail information is temporarily stored as non-processed utilization detail data together with the IC card number and the serial number of charging processing (468 and 470), the temporary utilization detal information on the IC card is reloaded with regular utilization detail information (472 and 474) and in the temporarily stored non-rocessed utilization detail information, the non-processed utilization detail data having the coincident serial number of charging processing are erased (476).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
