CORPORATE WORK INTEGRATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INTEGRATING A PLURALITY OF DATA SOURCES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corporate work integration system for integrating a plurality of computer systems using different data formats, access methods, etc. SOLUTION: This system includes a back end interface 110 which converts input data source information into an input XML document and also converts an output XML document into the output data source information, a front end interface 120 which includes a means to convert the output XML document into an output HTML form and also to convert an input HTML form into an XML document, an intermediate layer 130 which includes a rule engine and a rule database, a design tool 140 which defines those conversions and MXL documents, a network which connects the interfaces 110 and 120, layer 130 and tool 140 together and a plurality of agents 101 which transmit the XML documents via the network and then process these documents according to each rule.
