PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition excellent in storage stability, weatherability and durability by dispersion polymerization of a mixture of a silyl functional group-contg. vinyl monomer and a specific monomer in an aqueous solution of a specific silyl functional group-contg. water-soluble resin. ;CONSTITUTION: This composition can be obtained by dispersion polymerization of (A) a monomer mixture of a silyl functional group-contg. vinyl monomer of formula II (R₂ is the same with R₁; (b) is the same as (a) and 15-60 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of the whole monomer, of at least one kind of ≥8C (meth) acrylic alkyl ester as copolymerizable component in (B) an aqueous solution of a water-soluble resin (pref. having the COOH group neutralized with ammonia or an organic amine) containing silyl functional group of formula I (R¹ is 1-10C alkyl, aryl or aralkyl; X is halogen, alkoxy, OH, etc.; (a) in integer of 0-2) and incorporated with 15-60 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of the whole monomer, of at least one kind of ≥8C (meth)acrylic alkyl ester as copolymerized component.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
