Karaoke data transmission device and communication karaoke system

PURPOSE: To provide a KARAOKE data distributing device which can distribute KARAOKE data being fit for types of respective KARAOKE devices even when the KARAOKE devices of plural types are connected. CONSTITUTION: The communication KARAOKE devices 2, 3, and 4 of plural types are connected to a distribution center 1. The communication KARAOKE devices have different functions and are classified by the types A, B, and C. The differences of those types are classified by whether the maximum polyphonic number of a sound source is 32 or 64 and whether a function which restores ADPCM data is available in addition to a PCM sound source. The distribution center 1 stores data on the types A, B, and C being fit for respective types as to the same contents (KARAOKE music, CM, etc.), and judges the type of an opposite communication KARAOKE device when KARAOKE data are downloaded and selects and downloads the data being fit for the type.
