PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the bending of a knee at an excessive minus bending angle even in such a case that there is no rear cross ligament in a knee artifical limb.;SOLUTION: In the knee artifical limb equipped with a knee artificial limb femur part 6 having at least one of condyles (7, 8) and one trochlea part (20) and a tibia insert (3), each of the condyles (7, 8) has an outer surface formed into a complementary shape with respect to the upper surface (12) of the tibia insert (3) to be locked therein at least in an ordinary bending range. At least one of recessed parts (14, 15) is formed to the trochlea part (20) and the relative arrangement and shape of each of the recessed parts (14, 15) and the upper part of the front edge (18) of the tibia insert (3) are set so that the femur part (6) is prevented from exceeding a limit of a predetermined minus angle when it is rotated to be bent at a minus angle to come into contact with the upper part of the front edge (18) of the tibia insert (3) to stop.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
