PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an invitation card generation system which enables sponsors of various meetings to easily and speedily generate invitation cards at low cost through a computer network as well as the selection of places for the meetings and also easily and speedily send the finished invitation cards to persons who are expected to join the meetings at low cost.;SOLUTION: The sponsor sides of various meetings after retrieving opening places matching the desirable meetings on a screen according to opening places data regarding places, stores, etc., which are previously stored adds guidance information on the meetings newly entered in specific form into necessary items among specified existent opening place data to generate cards of invitation as web pages. The cards of invitations that the sponsor sides create are saved together with characteristic URLs so that they can release on the Internet. Electronic mail containing the URLs of the cards of invitation which are generated respectively is automatically sent to the sponsor sides through the Internet. Persons who are expected to join various meetings are able to read cards of invitations corresponding to identifiers guided from the sponsor sides on screens.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
