MULTI-POINT INFORMATION SUPERVISORY SYSTEM AND METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-point information supervisory system that can reduce temporal and man-hour costs with respect to a supervisory job and a human error, decrease a time required for detection processing from image information and simply provide a wide range of supervisory area by the use of an existing network. ;SOLUTION: An operation computer, an information storage computer and a characteristic analysis computer are interconnected via a network to send/ receive information mutually. A camera system for the information storage computer is provided in the vicinity of the control computer and the characteristic analysis computer acquires image information of a user and information of a person identifier and stores them to a database. When the system receives a search request of a specific person, the characteristic analysis computer calculates a correlation value between the image information stored in the database and the image information of the camera system and informs the user about the image information with a high correlation. Furthermore, the system raises a warning on intrusion of a person other than the specific person.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
