SOLID CATALYTIC COMPONENT FOR POLYMERIZING ALPHA-OLEFIN, CATALYST FOR POLYMERIZING ALPHA-OLEFIN, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING ALPHA-OLEFINIC POLYMER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high activity catalyst for polymerizing an α-olefin and also to provide an efficient method for producing an α-olefinic polymer. ;SOLUTION: A solid catalyst component for polymerizing an α-olefin is obtained by bringing a solid reaction product obtained through the reduction of a titanium compound represented by general formula [I] (wherein a is a number of 2 to 20; R2 is a 1-20C hydrocarbon group; and X2s are each a halogen atom or a 1-20C oxyhydrocarbon group) with an organomagnesium compound into contact with an electron donative compound and/or organic acid halide and a compound having Ti-halogen bond in the presence of an organosilicon compound having Si-O bond. A catalyst for polymerizing an α-olefin obtained by using a solid catalyst component, an organoaluminum and an electron donative compound, and a method for producing an α-olefinic polymer in the presence of a catalyst are provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
