PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data synchronization method for data and an internet accounting system, by which the results of data update independently performed by the accounting processors of a client and/or accounting office offline can be synchronized at arbitrary timing without exclusive processing at the time of Internet connection in the case of Internet accounting processing. ;SOLUTION: Accounting data inputted by an accounting processor B are made into primary accounting file 13B. When transmitting is instructed, the primary accounting file 13B is made into attached file F1, attached to transmission notice electronic mail M1 and stored through the Internet 3 into a primary accounting file 13A by clients of an accounting processor A. After the end of correction by the accounting processor A displayed on a screen 14A, when a synchronizing instruction is operated, the received data in the primary accounting file 13A are synchronized with a formal accounting file 18A. After the end of synchronizing processing, the synchronized primary file 18A is made into attached file F2, attached to transmission notice electronic mail M2 and stored through the internet 3 into a primary accounting file 13B of an accounting processor B.
