PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate the load exchange, measurement and calculation of weights based on the calibration theory under the computer aided control in order to directly calibrate a weight to be detected by the submultiple and multi ple method. ;SOLUTION: This calibrator comprises a weighing part 1, a weight to be inspected 3, a built-in balancing weight 4, a measurement controller 2, an internal balancing weight adjuster mechanism 18, and a combined external reference weight and to-be-inspected weight load exchanging mechanism 19. The automatic calibration of the weight to be inspected 3 is performed by use of the built-in balancing weight 4 and external reference weights 44 and 45.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
