PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving picture album generator that allows a user to easily generate a moving picture album without the need for skill to edit a moving picture. ;SOLUTION: An object read time display means 60 displays a plurality of kinds of preset items and an object read time TIN0 set to prescribed items among object read times respectively set to each items in response to an entry operation on an image display device 13 and a real time display means 70 displays also a real read time TIN of a moving picture actually read among image pickup data by an edit used for the prescribed items on the image display device 13. Thus, an operator has only to sequentially select a plurality of kinds of items, selectively read an image suitable for the selected items from the image pickup data, and set the real read time TIN read actually to be the object read time TIN0 displayed on the image display device 13 by each item so as to easily edit a yearbook with the required items by using the images of the reproduction time suitable for the items thereby allowing the operator to easily generate the yearbook without the need for the skill to edit the moving picture.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
