EXTRUDED ALUMINUM SHAPE MATERIAL WITH FINS AND ITS MANUFACTURING DIES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat radiating performance of an extruded aluminum shape material with fins to be used for the heat sink (radiator) of a personal computer or audio apparatus by adopting an extruded shape material with parallel fins of small pitch and high tong ratio, and to provide dies to manufacture the extruded shape material with parallel fins of small pitch and high tong ratio. ;SOLUTION: This extruded aluminum shape material with fins is equipped with a plate base 2 and parallel fins 3 installed to one side of the base and having tong ratio (fin height/fin spacing ratio) of 7 to 20. The extruded shape manufacturing dies have a plate base forming passage connected to a billet flowing space on the front of the dies and a parallel fins forming passage, and inside of the space 11 one or multiple billet blow adjusting bridge-like convex portions to cross the opening portion of the passage 13 for forming all the fins are provided. At the place opposing to the opening portion of the fin forming passage of each bridge-like convex portion, an approximately U-shaped billet flowing notch is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
