IMPROVED BUILDING MATERIAL USING PLASTICS MATERIAL, IMPROVED BUILDING STRUCTURAL PORTION PRODUCED BY USING THE MATERIAL, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a building structural portion or element which has heat insulation property and sound absorption property, and is environment-friendly, by mixing a waste plastics recycled material with a new plastics material, and using the resultant material as a versatile building material. ;SOLUTION: A thermal insulating layer 2 comprising a new plastics material or a waste plastics recycled material is provided on a lower structure 1 such as a gravel layer, as a structure of a street. Further, a support layer 3 and a cover layer 4 containing concrete or asphalt are arranged on the thermal insulating layer 2, to thereby constitute the street structure. The thermal insulating layer is formed by feeding a recycled material formed of a moldable waste plastics material in an ordinary manner. Thus, elasticity of the thermal insulating layer can be maintained to the same level, and the sound absorption property, heat insulation property, and drainage performance are not degraded with the lapse of time. Similarly, by using the new plastics material or the waste plastics recycled material as a floor material, the heat insulation property and the sound absorption property can be maintained to a constant state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
