PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing base material, which has the high absorbability of a water-base ink, with which a favorable image is obtained, which develops neither deterioration of the printed image nor blocking even under highly humid conditions and which has an accepting layer with a favorable water resistance.;SOLUTION: This printing base material is obtained by coating the activated energy ray curing resin composition for the water-base ink accepting layer including a compound (A), which has two or more (meth)acryloil groups in one molecule and a number average molecular weight of 1,000 or less, a N,N dialkyl amino alkyl (meth)acrylate tertiary salt and/or quaternary ammonium salt (B) represented by general formula (1), wherein m and n respectively represent integers from 1 through 3 and R represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, a water-soluble mono-functional monomer (C), which includes an amide group and the glass transition point (Tg) in a homo-polymer of which is 100°C or higher, and a mono-functional monomer (D) except the components (B) and (C) when necessary.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
