PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake fade alarm device for vehicle with the simple structure at a low cost capable of effectively utilizing an existing sensor used for control without requiring addition of parts such as a torque sensor and a load sensor while restricting the cost. ;SOLUTION: This brake fade alarm device has a target deceleration computing means 1 for computing the target deceleration requested by a driver, a real deceleration computing means 2 for computing the real deceleration of the vehicle, an alarm means 3 for calling the driver's attention, and a control means 4 for driving the alarm means 3 while determining a probability of the brake fade when the real deceleration G2 is smaller than the target deceleration G1 and a difference between them exceeds the predetermined value S on the basis of a comparison of the target deceleration G1 computed by the target deceleration computing means 1 with the real deceleration G2 computed by the real deceleration computing means G2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
