PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain scientific and reliable monitoring system for predicting the ground surface concentration of a contaminants such as dioxins, especially a concentration distribution according to the weather conditions of the region and for coping with the assessment of regional environment. ;SOLUTION: Ground concentration for each wind direction/wind speed of a contaminant by AMEDAS data and the atmospheric diffusion formula, and at the same time the concentration is integrated for a specific period, thus calculating the ground surface concentration distribution. Also, the AMEDAS equivalent data of a specific region is collected by a wind direction/anemometer 1, a thermometer/hygrometer 2, a pyranometer 3, a barometer 4, a rain gauge 5, a soil moisture meter 7, or the like, a ground surface concentration distribution is calculated using the atmospheric diffusion formula similarly by a personal computer 11 for data processing, the degree of influence to each and total ground surface distribution according to each weather data are calculated from a multiple regression expression using the collected AMEDAS- equivalent data and the actual contamination concentration for correcting the ground surface concentration distribution, and contamination conditions are predicted and specimen sampling points are set.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
