RECLAIMED BASE PAPER WHOSE 100 IS MADE FROM NEWSPAPER WASTE PAPER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain reclaimed base paper whose 100% comprises newspaper waste paper, and which can be used as base paper for envelopes, angularly bottomed bags, brief bags, and corrugated cardboards, is not deinked and bleached, and has a Steckigt sizing degree of ≥20 sec.;SOLUTION: This method for producing the reclaimed base paper whose 100% comprises newspaper waste paper, comprising (1) using a long net type or short net type multilayer paper machine, (2) making fiber slurries fro leaflet- free newspaper waste paper and leaflet-containing newspaper waste paper by the use of pulpers, respectively, (3) adding a rosin sizing agent and a size fixing agent to at least one of both the fiber slurries in the non-deinked and non- bleached state, (4) feeding the fiber slurry of the leaflet-free newspaper waste paper to at least one of the first and least paper-making nets of the multilayer paper machine, and then (5) making paper into the multiple layers so that the total basis weight of the multilayer paper becomes 60 to 210 g/m2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
