PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To charge data of passenger tickets or the like in any place at any time and to enable a user to visually confirm the contents of data of passenger tickets or the like. ;SOLUTION: This system uses a portable terminal (1) in which an IC module (2) having a short-distance communication means to an automatic ticket examination machine (3) incorporated and having at least a display means and a communication means. The data of passenger tickets or the like is stored in the IC module, and the ticket is automatically checked by short-distance communication when the user holds up the portable terminal over the automatic ticket examination machine.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
