PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze a building structure by linking a general CAD program and a calculation program for the building structure together.;SOLUTION: A building structure is designed by the general CAD program (step S1), the record number of a member shape reference file and the border condition of a structure plan reference file are arranged at a figure on a frame layer of the designed building structure, and the record number of a load shape reference file is arranged at a figure on a load case layer of the building structure (step S2). The structure calculation program reads the data of the figures on the frame layer and load case layer, the record numbers arranged at the figures, etc., to generate a node coordinate data file and a member arrangement file (step S3), and also calculates the building structure by using the structure plan reference file, member shape reference file, load shape reference file, node coordinate data file, and member arrangement file (step S4).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
