PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparing method for an undercoat layer application liquid for a radiation image conversion panel equalizing a dispersion state of powder insoluble to organic solvent when preparing the undercoat layer application liquid including the powder to impart a uniform characteristic to an undercoat layer, to provide the radiation image conversion panel allowing formation of the undercoat layer having the uniform characteristic on a support body surface to impart an excellent image quality, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. ;SOLUTION: In this preparing method for an undercoat layer application liquid for a radiation image conversion panel for preparing the undercoat layer application liquid by dispersing and dissolving at least a high polymer resin, an additive, and powder insoluble to an organic solvent in the organic solvent, a solution is prepared by dispersing and dissolving the high polymer resin and the additive in the organic solvent, the solution is added with the powder, and the powder is dispersed in the solution.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
