PORTABLE WALKING SUPPORT TOOL FOR BLIND PERSON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously display the positions of a plurality of objects existing in multiple directions and distance by providing a group if bandpass filters for passing a carrier signal being transmitted and received by ultrasonic equipment. ;SOLUTION: A carrier frequency is assigned to ultrasonic equipment for transmission/reception being arranged arcuately so that it becomes another channel transmitter/receiver, and a transmitted/received carrier signal is passed by a group of reception channel bandpass filter. The carrier signal is synchronized to a transmission/reception control means for switching control, thus filtering a reverberation signal being transmitted by another channel and obtaining directional resolution. Also, the detection of an object is expressed by a vibrator group plate 4a. The portable walking support tool is set to ultrasonic equipment 1s, ss, and rs being arcuately arranged, an enclosure 2b incorporating a measurement part 3a for detecting the object, and a portable type worn by a body belt 2a. A palm is brought into contact with the vibrator group plate 4a where vibrators are integrated for detecting vibration and searching an obstacle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
