PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying method and a drying device for a slurry type or solution type material, which are reduced in the fear of generation of run-away in control and not spoiling productivity upon controlling the amount of moisture of a dried power, and the manufacturing method of a good quality sintered compact of a ceramic wherein the dried powder manufacture in such a manner is formed and sintered.;SOLUTION: The stabilized control of amount of moisture in powder, good in responding property and hardly causing hunting, can be expected by a method wherein the amount of heat of supplying air qI, possessed by the supplying air I, is adjusted so as to obtain dried power G having a specified amount of moisture based on the detected value HO' of the absolute humidity of exhaust gas even when the amount of moisture in the dried powder G is not measured directly. When the dried powder does not exist in a take-out port 40 such as in cases when clogging is generated in the specimen collecting unit of an amount of moisture measuring meter, re-starting after stopping temporarily upon charging the material or the like, there is no fear of generating run-wary in the control for producing various drying conditions whereby the productivity will not be spoiled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
