BUS NETWORK MANAGEMENT METHOD, BUS NETWORK USING IT AND INFORMATION SERVICE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a management node to efficiently recognize interruption of a bus.;SOLUTION: The bus network 10 is configured by interconnecting buses 21-26 with bridges 31-35. A 1st step is executed for the setting by which a management node 41 receives an interruption report, and the 2nd and 3rd steps are properly repeated. The management node 41 detects a bridge portal (relay portal) on the way to an object path and transmits a request of the interruption report thereto in the 1st step. The relay portal transmits the request of the interruption report to a bridge portal (proxy portal) connected to itself in the 2nd step. The proxy portal detects a bridge portal (relay portal) on the way to the object path in the 3rd step and transmits a request of the interruption report thereto. The proxy portal detects interruption of the relay portal detected by itself to detect interruption of the object path and reports it to the management node.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
