PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain dynamic knowledge processing which does not depend upon a changing condition by executing an analyzing program and specifying the concept of a natural language sentence which is inputted by using the concept of a knowledge dictionary when one candidate for the concept can not be specified after the concept is analyzed. SOLUTION: A morpheme analysis of character data is taken by referring to a customer knowledge dictionary 31 of a knowledge dictionary 30, a syntax analysis of the result of the morpheme analysis is taken by referring to the customer knowledge dictionary 31, and a semantic analysis of the result of the syntax analysis is taken by referring to the customer knowledge dictionary 31. Then it is checked whether or not more than one concept candidate is brought up and when so, i.e., when one candidate for the concept can not be specified, the contents of a verb or verb phrase are read out of the customer knowledge dictionary 31 and used as an argument to call analyzing program start processing, thereby specifying the concept according to the analysis result.
