METHOD FOR MIXING THERMOPLASTIC RESIN WITH ADDITIVE BY NOZZLE FOR INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently mix a gas or pigment with a thermoplastic resin by installing a nozzle with a dispersing function at the tip of an injection molding machine and mixing the molten thermoplastic resin with an additive using the injection molding machine.;SOLUTION: A nozzle 1 is installed at the tip of an injection molding machine and an arbitrarily selected number of radially dispersing mixers 2 are attached to the nozzle 1. One unit of the mixer 2 comprises two sets of half units which are large-size outer elements 3a, 3b, each having a hole 5a, 5b facing outwardly and small-size inner elements 4a, 4b positioned back to back. Thus each pair of the half units consisting of each of the elements 3a, 3b and each of the elements 4a, 4b, are arranged behind the propagation/diffusion side where fluid flowing in from the center radially spreads in the radial direction toward the circumference and contrarily on the gathering side where the fluid heads for the center from the circumference.
