HIGH-DEGREE TREATMENT OF WASTEWATER USING MEMBRANE MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a membrane module arranging space in the case of the high-degree treatment of wastewater by using a hollow fiber membrane module comprising a highly water-permeable hollow fiber membranes capable of removing a very small amt. of an org. component and a low-molecular-wt. org. substance.;SOLUTION: In a wastewater treatment process, wastewater is supplied to a hollow fiber membrane module comprising nano filter membranes or composite hollow fiber membranes of which sucrose removing ratio of a 0.1 wt.% sucrose aq.soln. at 25°C under pressure of 0.3 MPa is 92% or more and the water permeation amt. per a membrane area is 0.1 m3/m2/day or more under pressure to be treated. By this constitution, a very small amt. of an org. component and low-molecular-wt. org. substance in wastewater are removed and the arranging space of a membrane module at a time of the removable of a very small amt. of an org. substance such as chromaticity incapable of being sufficiently removed heretofore by biological treatment, a membrane separation activated sludge method and a flocculation membrane separation type high- degree treatment method can be reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
