For use in a Direct Sequence-Code Division Multiple Access (DS-CDMA) spread spectrum communication system, a method comprising the steps of: (a) spreading an incoming data symbol Di by an N-chip long Walsh sequence Wi(N) where Wi(N)= [wi1, wi2,....,wiN], a Walsh chip Wij ֶ {+1,-1}, and N=2k for k=1, 2,...., n to generate an N-chip long spread waveform WFi(N) where WF1(N)=[DiWil, DiWi2,..., DiwiN]; (b) applying at least one inversion operation ai each correspondingly inverting its associated spread waveform WFi(N) to generate a composite spread waveform CWF: satisfying the condition: 352 ו' בניסן התשס" ד - March 28, 2004 when the inversion operator aiֶ{+1, -1}, and the data symbols Diֶ{+1, -1} along all N channels of the communication system are identical.
