The plant for feeding or removing heat energy to or from ground water involves first and second ground water connections to first and second locations, with a primary circuit (4,6,7) moving ground water from first to second locations and a secondary circuit feeding thermic energy to user points. A heat exchanger (5) exchanges heat between water circulating in the primary circuit and that circulating in the secondary circuit. The primary circuit also moves ground water from the second location to the first location and the secondary circuit (10) withdraws thermic energy. With a pump (8), the heat exchanger is formed into a unit and the pump is capable of pumping in two directions.
