The method is for the development and/or construction of a new building district on the basis of developed virtual history. A virtual history is developed via the plano-logical development of the area in which the new building district is to be erected, on the basis of which a virtual work and/or residential district is installed. At least the street layout of the virtual district is at least partly adopted in the development of the new building district, which is then constructed. The virtual history is developed by computer stimulation.
