摘要

Calcium hydroxyapatite (HA: Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2) which is the most important phase of human and animal bones is obtained as bio-ceramic powder of high purity and having an average particle size of 50 nanometres by, at first, solving in proper ratios the initial calcium nitrate tetra-hydrate and di-ammonium hydrogen phosphate salts in pure or urea/urease containing "synthetic body fluid" (SBF) prepared in advance and then by using a specific chemical sedimentation method in bio-mimetic conditions of 37 degrees C and pH=7.4. It is observed that the powder obtained with this procedure contains small amounts of sodium, magnesium, iron, cupper, zinc and carbonate ions like the natural bones; that it has a high thermal stability; that it preserves its crystal structure and it doesn't degenerate even after being heated during 6 hours in atmosphere in 1,600 degrees C.
