The metal coating of eg. sports shoes for decoration purposes comprises application of a metal powders and varnishes mixture to the eg. leather, plastics, wool, rubber or silicone shoe. The metals are good electrical conductors and facilitate electrolysis of the shoe in an electrolytic bath. EMBODIMENT - Copper, brass, bronze, tin, silver and gold, undergoing oxidation and finally coated with varnish, are used in the coating.
