A lamp with animated landscape painting, comprising a support on which is a transmission mechanism driven by a driving means for rotating outer lamp shade (18) or inner lamp-shade (19), and a painting carrier (17) arranged on the external surface of the outer lamp-shade (18). On the internal surface of the outer lamp-shade (18) is a pattern, at least part of which is transparent. On the side surface of the inner lamp-shade (19) is a pattern mating with that on the internal surface of the outer lamp-shade (18), and at least part of which is transparent. A light emitting device is provided inside the inner lamp-shade (19). Thus an animated motion of the painting on the carrier can be achieved and viewed, such as running water and cloud.
