A sea-going observation platform is configured with a tribune extending substantially upwards at an angle with seating arrangements at a number of different levels for a large group of people. The unit is intended to a special degree for officials and spectators in connection with the holding of sailing-boat races, but it has further possibilities of application such as harbour sightseeing vessel. The unit is preferably built up as a separable lightweight construction with triangular basic configuration and with support pontoons under the three corners, whereby torsional influences are avoided in cases of heavy seas.
