The invention concerns a device for stabilising a vertical mast constructed with successive platforms, which consists in providing the mast (M) with a mobile anchoring structure (1) by vertical translation on the mast and by continuously connecting it to anchoring points (A) located at some distance from the mast. The invention is particularly useful for anchoring the mast of a crane.
