FAT COMBUSTION VALUE CALCULATING METHOD, FAT COMBUSTION VALUE CALCULATING DEVICE, AND EXERCISE MACHINE

A fat combustion value calculating device (6) measures a cardiographic signals (1, 4 1, 45-47) from the start of an exercise, calculates the heart rate from the measured value, calculates the fluctuation power of the heart beat interval, and determines the AT strength from the fluctuation power. After the determination of the AT strength, a preset exercise program is executed, the load value during the exercise is measured, and the caloric consumption is calculated. A cardiographic signal during the exercise is measured, the heart rate is calculated from the measurement signal, and the fat combustion rate during the exercise is calculated. From the caloric consumption and the fat combustion rate, the fat combustion value is calculated, and their accumulated values are calculated and displayed. Thus a fat combustion value calculating method and a fat combustion value calculating device (6) for accurately calculating the fat combustion rate and fat combustion value during an exercise of an individual irrespective of the exercise strength are provided.
