PURPOSE: A method for preparing a character-featuring doll which can facilitates correction and remaking of the doll and which enables recycle of raw materials to save costs is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a character-featuring doll comprises preparing a first half and second half of the doll by carving a pattern of the doll with wax; pressing the wax pattern of the doll against agar at 80 to 90 deg.F to make a mold; pouring plaster or synthetic resin onto the mold and curing; and separating the mold and then adhering the first half and second half of the doll. A variant method comprises preparing a first half and second half of the doll by carving a pattern of the doll with wax; embedding the wax pattern in sand, coating the exposed part with dough, pouring plaster and curing; removing the dough, coating the part to which the dough is removed with silicone and curing to make a mold; applying releasing agent to the mold, pouring plaster or synthetic resin onto the mold and curing; and separating the mold and then adhering the first half and second half of the doll.
