STRUCTURE FOR HYDRAULIC GAP ADJUSTER OF INTAKE AND EXHAUST VALVE

PURPOSE: Structure for a hydraulic gap adjuster is provided to prevent air from flowing into a high pressure chamber from an oil passage even if an engine restarts after a regular time. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic gap adjuster(20) sets a valve gap to 'zero' by supplying oil through an oil passage(11) formed in a cylinder head(10). The oil passage contains an oil isolating device(30) blocking the oil passage not to drain oil to a reservoir when oil is not supplied to the hydraulic gap adjuster. Thus, air amount is minimized in the inner low pressure chamber of an adjuster body so that a valve gap is smoothly adjusted and noise caused by air inflow is removed.
