PURPOSE: A vehicle running performance and stability insurance device holds the balance of a vehicle body through sensing a cross wind . CONSTITUTION: A vehicle running performance and stability insurance device comprises a strain gauge(1), a controller(2) and a pneumatics converter(3). The strain gauge(1) is in the bonnet of a vehicle and detects the electric signal of the instantaneous cross wind force applied for the certain direction of the vehicle. The controller(2) detects a pneumatics in response to a cross wind force detected by the strain gauge(1), determines the wind direction of a cross wind, transfers a signal to the pneumatics converter(3), thereby applying a given pneumatics for the shock absorber(4) installed opposite to the cross wind. The pneumatics converter(3) applies the cross wind force in response to an output signal from the controller(2) for the shock absorber(4), therefore holds the balance of vehicle body by the reaction of the pneumatics. Thus, the vehicle running performance and stability insurance device holds the balance of the vehicle by the pneumatics of the shock absorber, although the cross wind blows in any direction of the vehicle body during running.
