Folk percussion instrument figure which the yellow soil is adsorbed and its manufacturing process

PURPOSE: A producing method for a Korean traditional percussion instrument adsorbing yellow soil is provided to express natural and soft color, to prevent the leather and the body of the percussion instrument from being mildewed and to always sound peculiar sound regardless of weather, using yellow soil. CONSTITUTION: A Korean traditional percussion instrument(10) is produced by a surface processing process, a yellow soil adsorbing process and a painting process. In the surface processing process, the Korean traditional percussion instrument is made of a paulownia tree and rubbed by sandpaper. In the yellow soil adsorbing process, the percussion instrument is dipped in a yellow soil solution(34) until the yellow soil is sufficiently adsorbed in the body of the percussion instrument. In the painting process, the percussion instrument is painted after drying the yellow soil solution. To make the yellow soil solution, yellow soil powder is put into a container(31) and mixed with water and salt in a ratio of 100:50:10. The yellow soil solution is ripened for one day in the container.
