3 System and method of making 3D body model

PURPOSE: A system and method is provided to achieve an improved convenience for on-line buying users by creating avatars who wear clothes or accessories in place of users in a virtual reality space. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the first step(S1000) of collecting information related to average body size of users, and creating a standard body type database including size information of each part of human body, a head form database including head forms and sizes of users, and a hair style database including hair styles and colors of users; the second step(S2100) of generating a three-dimensional body model by registering body sizes of users; the third step(S2200) of generating a three-dimensional head form model by using two-dimensional images of users or existing head form model; and the fourth step(S2300) of completing a three-dimensional body model by combining the three-dimensional body model generated in the second step and three-dimensional head form model generated in the third step.
