PURPOSE: Structure for preventing the displacement and bending of an engine hood in a head-on collision of a vehicle is provided to prevent a secondary accident due to a head-on collision of a vehicle by avoiding the displacement and bending of an engine hood. CONSTITUTION: A fixing member(20) is installed on an outer panel(11) of an engine hood(10). The fixing member includes an L-shaped fixing protrusion(21) and a fixing plate(22) for supporting the fixing protrusion. The fixing plate is fixed on the outer panel by using plural bolts(50) and nuts(51). A fixing recessed groove member(30) is installed on a fender apron panel(40) covering the front sides of a vehicle. The fixing recessed groove member includes a fixing unit(33) formed in the inverted U shape and a support plate(31) integrated with the fixing unit and installed on the fender apron panel by bolts and nuts. A fixing recessed groove is formed between the support plate and the fixing unit. The L-shaped protrusion is fixed in the fixing recessed groove when a head-on collision of a vehicle occurs. In the head-on collision, an inner panel(12) and the fixing member are pushed backward due to a shock. Then, the fixing member disperses the shock to the front and rear portions of the fixing member. Therefore, the engine hood is avoided from departing or bending due to deformation.
