ABBREVIATION CONNECTION WEB TELEPHONE AND METHOD FOR ABBREVIATED CONNECTION OF WEB SITE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An abbreviation connection web telephone and a method for an abbreviated connection of a web site using the same are provided to enable a user to visit a frequently visited web site rapidly and conveniently whenever the user visits the web site by memorizing the web site address(Uniform Resource Location, URL) in a register. CONSTITUTION: If a user presses a memory button and a number button located in a keypad(300), a central processing unit checks whether a web telephone of the user is already connected to the Internet in accordance with a program stored in the second memory(302). If a web telephone of the user is not connected to the Internet, a connection is tried continuously through an Internet service provider(304). If a web telephone of the user is connected to the Internet, the central processing unit checks whether a browser is being executed(306). If a browser is not executed, the browser is executed(308) and a URL stored in the first memory is read(310), and thus the user connects to the corresponding web site(312).
