PURPOSE: A device and a method for rapidly opening and covering a warm cover for a green house are provided, thereby rapidly and easily opening and covering a warm cover for a green house to properly control the temperature and lighting of the green house. CONSTITUTION: The device for rapidly opening and covering a warm cover for a green house consists of a supporting pipe; a warm cover(14) on the supporting pipe(13); a warm cover-opening and covering bar(10) connected with the end of the warm cover(14); rollers(7) connected with the both end of the warm cover-opening and covering bar(10); a speed-reducing machine(2) connected with a motor; a first gear and a second gear(3, 4) connected with the speed-reducing machine(2); a flexible square crank shaft(5) connected with the first gear(3); a rotation chain(6) connected with the second gear(4); and a second gear-connecting bar(8).
