FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has horizontal knife, two shares positioned on lower side of knife and adapted for dividing cut portion of substrate into two parts in vertical plane and throwing them aside. Horizontal knife is pivotally connected to tail hood adapted for smooth lowering of cut portion of substrate. Apparatus may be used in mushroom growing as well as in feed production. EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency in using organic wastes. 3 dwg
