FIELD: gas treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sorption-catalytic treatment of air to remove polluting substances and can be used in exhaust gas treatment systems. Polluted air is consecutively passed through filter catching solid particles and air sols, through solvent bed in filter modulus, and finally through bed of redox catalyst based on manganese and copper oxides. Prior to enter filter modulus, air is heated to temperature exceeding temperature of ambient air by 5 to 30 C. Filter modulus has cylindrical casing enclosing sorbent and redox catalyst beds. Catalyst bed is made in the form of hollow cylinder and sorbent bed, absorbing hydrocarbons and other organics, is disposed inside cylindrical catalyst bed. The two beds are arranged coaxially with casing. EFFECT: tenfold reduced concentration of injurious components in ventilation emissions at productivity 600 square m/h per 1 modulus. 9 cl, 1 dwg
