The burner has a combustion air channel connected to a fan, a gas nozzle, a mixture unit fitted after the gas nozzle and a cylindrical burner upper surface (1). The mixture unit comprises a cylindrical sleeve (2) filled with packing bodies (3) and is arranged in the flow path between the gas nozzle and the burner upper surface. The sleeve is preferably made of perforated metal sheet, a grating structure or a fibrous material.
