The mounting element of the one-point or spot holder (1) is adhesively bonded (51) by its flat fixer face (4) to the exterior of the glazing (2) to give a positive and forcible join. The adhesive is proof against UV light and also transparent and the holder (1) includes a bearing free from bending moment to carry the glazing in the support (3). The bearing consists of the main mounting element whose casing surface (6) furthest from the face (4) presents a permanently elastic cone or ball shaped surface which is addressed at adjustable pre-tension by a complementary surface (8) of the inner casing (9) of fixer dome (10). A rigidifiable spatial joint (12,13) is inserted between dome (10) and fixer screw (11). Where it faces the support (3), the dome (10) has an externally threaded extension (21) and an inwards flange between dome and extension to support the head of the dome adjuster screw (18). The glazing (2) consists of single or multiple safety glazing.
