The servo-assisted pressure cut-off valve (10) controls the connection to a tank (T) if the pressure in a system drops below or exceeds a predetermined value. A servo-valve (28) is fitted on one connection of the main valve (10) and a governor valve (38) on the other. A control chamber in the servo-valve can be connected via the governor valve to a line (44) at the system pressure or a second line (42) at the tank pressure.
