The method for protecting a sculpture (1) against the effect of weather comprises fitting a framework of plastic tubes (6) around it. A weather-resistant cover (7) is then fastened to it and to the pedestal (2) of the sculpture. An Independent claim is included for a system for carrying out the above method.
