The multi-stage axial turbine has first and second rotor disks (8, 9) with a space (34) between them. A cooling air flow goes through the first rotor disk to the second one. There is a boiler (20) in the space between the rotor disks. Input and output apertures (30, 31, 32) are made in this boiler for the cooling air flow.
